Use with your pneumatic hammer to skin doors quickly and easily.
This clever tool makes re-skinning a panel a breeze. Simply follow the two step process for a perfectly flanged skin. Designed with a steel shaft and self-lubricating nylon head, it forms and crimps. When completed, finishing is minimal on the corners and body lines. The Skin Zipper reduces arm fatigue from hammer and dolly method as well as dramatically reducing refinishing time. The tool features two “step #2” slot widths for thick or thin sheet metal skins.
Step One - allows the technician to form the edge of the door skin to an initial 45-degree angle by holding the tool at a right angle to the door. No hammer and dolly work required here.
Step Two - allows the technician to complete the final form by using the tool at a 45-degree angle. Two side slot widths are included for thick or thin sheet metal skins.
Head skins must be replaced after ten door treatments.
