The ability to fabricate a patch panel is an extremely useful skill, whether to create your own custom part, a replacement part, or even modifying an aftermarket panel for correct fitment.
Having the confidence to tackle that rusted mess can sometimes be overwhelming. Having the skills required to manipulate metal and turn two pieces into one is extremely useful and rewarding on any old car project. This one day workshop focuses exactly on that.
This introductory class covers the process from start to finish for fabrication of patch panels. From identifying the best place to join the new section on, creating a pattern, utilising tools at hand, welding the piece on and metal finishing. All of this achieved with basic hand tools.
