This 3M Perfect-It III 50874 Compounding Pad when used with new Quick Connect Adaptor technology and with 3M compounds and polishes, offers an unparalleled refinish rectification system is designed for use with Fast-Cut Plus Compound. This pad creates an aggressive cutting action to remove scratches and swirl marks from refinished or original paintwork.

The pads are manufactured with the 3M Hookit attachment system for quick pad mounting and removal and to hold them securely in place during use. 3M buffing pads quickly and firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately) on rotary or random orbital tools, can be removed cleanly and easily, and can be re-used again and again for the life of the pad. Finish results are dependent on specific polish used, coating type, and the tool used.

Any products that have a blue bottle cap are recommended for use with a blue pad in order to achieve the most effective results possible.
